ChiRunning 4-Week Special

I always receive feedback that people can’t attend 4 hours on a weekend so I created a few options: four 1-hour weekly classes and two 2-hour classes.  See breakdown of each session below (two 2-hour in red text)

ChiRunning: Posture & Video Analysis
(1 of 4) (1 of 2)
Class will start with a video recording of your current running form.  We will move to the important building block of your current running form: posture. You will learn how to stack your skeletal system so you can start your sit/stand/walk/run in the most efficient way possible. Class will end with the video review of your running form.    You will recieve handouts and a weekly training plan that will help you incorporate what you learned.
ChiRunning Lean/Lower Legs
(2 of 4) (1 of 2)
Many runners use an excessive amount of leg power to propel themselves forward. During the class, you will learn how to use gravity to do most of the work, HOW your foot should strike and leave the ground, WHERE your foot should strike in relation to your center of mass (preventing overstriding). We will practice putting these in place.  We will practice putting these in place. You will recieve a weekly training plan that will help you incorporate what you learned.
ChiRunning Arm Swing/Cadence
(3 of 4) (2 of 2)
Most runners don’t know what to do with their arms.  Your arm swing can play a big role in the efficiency of your running form. Your arm swing balances your body while gravity is assisting you and most people do it wrong.  You will also learn how to run at the most efficient cadence. This is the glue that keeps it all together! We will practice putting these in place. You will receive a weekly training plan that will help you incorporate what you learned.
ChiRunning Stride Length, Pelvic Rotation/Breathing
(4 of 4) (2 of 2)
During this final class, you will learn how pelvic rotation and opening your stride out to the rear will help you increase your speed.  We will also discuss breathing techniques that will help you be more efficient and keep you from getting winded.  We will practice putting these in place. You will receive a weekly training plan that will help you incorporate what you learned.
