ChiRunning/ChiWalking Posture & Breathing
In each clinic I will introduce the ChiWalking/ChiRunning form. Walking and running are one of the best ways to lose weight and stay fit.
Most people walk and run by using the muscles in their legs. As a result, people lead with their legs and pull themselves forward (most walking and running injuries are mainly due to improper use of leg muscles!)
ChiRunning/ChiWalking teaches you to use your core muscles rather than your leg muscles, allowing your upper body to lead your lower body. This forward movement engages the pull of gravity, which then becomes your ally.  This revolutionary method uses the same principles of T’ai Chi by working with core muscles, body alignment and body/mind integration resulting in a proven pain-free, energy efficient way to walk and run.
This in turn creates a more focused and enjoyable workout experience for lifelong health and energy.
It’s great for all fitness levels! If you are beginner, you will learn the right technique before doing it incorrectly. Myths & Facts: Strength Training for Women

Join Certified Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist, Lisa Pozzoni, owner of The Running University as she presents on the myths and facts of strength training for women! In this day and age, there is too much misinformation about strength training for women. There are so many reasons to include strength training to your life, especially as we are aging! During this session you will learn: – Myths and facts about strength training – Different types of strength training – How many sets/reps should you do depending on your goals? – Q & A All participants will be invited to participate in a short strength training routine and will also receive a handout they can take home. Lisa Pozzoni, lost weight with a personal trainer and once she was laid off, decided to pursue a career in fitness to help people get healthy. She’s owned her business for over 10 years and helped 100s of people with their fitness goals from weight loss to crossing finish lines they never thought possible.
